Workshop A10:50 am - 11:20 am Expanding Data Literacy Across the Enterprise Doug Bennett - Senior Director - Strategic BI & Analytics Ashley Furniture
The value added to organizations by data and analytics teams is dependent on the extent to which decisions are made and actions are taken in response to the insights they generate. As the portion of actors in an organization who are able and willing to act on the insights provided by data and analytics increases, so too does the potential impact of analytics as a whole. These insights multiply with the number of people able to understand the data available to them. Thus, for any data and analytics executive seeking to maximize impact on an organization, increasing data literacy throughout that organization is a must.
